A tame draw at Celtic Park with €30m on the line
Celtic struggled badly against the Champions of Kazakhstan.
Celtic have been held to a difficult first leg 0-0 draw at Celtic Park this evening. A poor first half saw them offer no real threat, with the best chances in a poor half of football falling to Kairat. Things didn’t get much better in the second half, with Celtic lacking the creativity required to unlock the door - even though the clock ran over 100 minutes after an injury to the Kazakhstan keeper. Celtic now travel to Kazakhstan for next Tuesday’s return leg live on Amazon Prime, having failed to win in each of their past three visits to the country.
