Mixed night for the Coefficient

A 2 goal lead was blown - but thankfully not at Easter Road.

When Dundee United raced into a 2 goal half time lead, it looked likely that for only the second time in history, all five Scottish teams would still be in Europe by the playoff round stage. Alas, it wasn’t to be and instead it’s just a massive opportunity missed in Dundee, after a brilliant performance across both legs. Thankfully though, Hibs got the job done - eventually - and it’s imperative they can now jump the final hurdle and reach the league phase.

United are eliminated from Europe despite an undefeated four match campaign, while Hibs are through to the playoff round after winning one of four matches.
