The “Post Match Stats Pack” will be a weekly article with a variety of stats following the conclusion of each weekend’s fixtures. Some stats will naturally be more notable than others, but as I will cover all 42 SPFL sides there will hopefully be something of interest to you.
PREMIERSHIP
Hibernian 3-0 Kilmarnock
Scorers: O. Elding (1’), F. Passlack (12’), A. Suto (90’)
Hibs are now unbeaten in 14 consecutive home meetings in all competitions against Kilmarnock, since a 0-1 defeat in May 2014.
Hibs are also unbeaten in 10 league meetings with Kilmarnock overall since November 2022.
Owen Elding scored after 13.26 seconds, the fastest goal of the season but not ever. Kris Boyd holds this record, scoring after 10 seconds against Ross County in January 2017. Elding was ranked as Hibs most valuable transfer asset by the CIES Football Observatory;
Prior to Boyd, Kris Commons held the record (12.2 seconds in 2013), while Anthony Stokes previously scored after 12.4 seconds. Hibs conceded after 13 seconds themselves in 2014, courtesy of Kenny McLean (not from the half way line).
This was only the fifth league match at Easter Road to finish Hibernian 3, Kilmarnock 0. The previous four were in 1922, 2004, 2005 and 2013.
Hibs have now kept three consecutive home clean sheets in the league (2-0 vs St Mirren, 0-0 vs Livingston, 3-0 vs Kilmarnock).
Kilmarnock’s away winless run now extends to 13 league matches (9 defeats, 4 draws). Their last away league win was 2-0 at Dundee United in September 2025.
Motherwell 2-3 Falkirk
Scorers: E. Watt (34’), T. Maswanhise (90’) / B. Stewart (3’), B. Broggio (45’), C. Miller (62’ pen)
Motherwell’s 12-match unbeaten home league run, their best in the top flight since a sequence of 18 between January 1975 and January 1976, was ended by Falkirk.
Motherwell had kept five clean sheets in their previous six home league matches. Today was the first time they conceded three at home since a 0-3 defeat to Ross County in February 2025.
Falkirk have now won the last three league meetings at Fir Park: 0-1 in April 2010, 1-2 in October 2025, and 2-3 today. That is the first time in the history of this fixture that Falkirk have won three consecutive league matches at Fir Park.
