HEARTS GO EIGHT POINTS CLEAR AT THE TOP!
Hearts’ unbeaten start continues as they recorded an ultimately comfortable 3-1 victory over Celtic at Tynecastle. Brendan Rodgers was keen to point out after the game that there are 29 matches left. He is right, of course. We are only nine games in to the season and so declaring Hearts the favourites for the title at this stage would be more than just premature.
However, opening up an eight point gap this early on is huge, and on current form - Celtic look more likely to drop points than Hearts in the coming months.
