Cheers Paul. Aye it's brilliant. Quite like the fact it's not the best quality picture. Almost demonstrates just how far removed we are from that era now
Two moments of brilliance from Klinsmann in the Home tie at Easter Road, he just drifted in to open space in the box. Was living in Nottingham at the time and travelled up for all 3 Home games. Was gutted when the draw for the next round occurred and Raith would have played Nottingham Forest in the next round. 4 miles to an away game would have been really grand. 😁
Brilliant article. I enjoyed counting the finals I've personally attended since my first in 1982...14 wins and 4 losses. Some long forgotten memories coming back as well. Thank you.
Super stats that man. Nice to see Super Raith Rovers and that iconic scoreboard photo get into your analysis.

Haha man, that would have been class. Great memories though
Sure we're. I even managed to get my wife to Starks Park for the Goto IF game which was something of a miracle.😁😁😁

Thanks John, I'm glad you liked it. With a record like that, you must have been celebrating a Charlie Nicholas goal at your first final!
Not so much celebration at full time the following season, if you were there to witness the last hat trick scored by a Rangers player Vs Celtic...
Soaked to the skin 82(no roof back then) and super ally outshining a quite brilliant but mostly forgotten equaliser by mcclair.
