Part two: End of season mega thread looking at potential routes to the league phase
This post is a follow up to yesterday’s post after the finalisation of the five European entry points for the Scottish teams in season 2025/26. The detailed explanation including the regionalisation of draws, seeding status, club coefficient and prize money can be read here:
Part two, this article, will go into more detail about potential opponents, including their club coefficient, estimated squad value, and best airport for travelling to. These graphics will be updated and expanded upon throughout the summer.
The goal is of course for all five Scottish teams to navigate through their qualifiers and reach a League Phase. However, only two teams (Celtic and Aberdeen) are guaranteed to reach a league phase, and Scotland has never had more than three teams in the group stages in the same season.
Therefore, four Scottish teams making it would be a superb achievement; but one that we are in desperate need of due to Scotland’s falling coefficient. The ramifications of that will be explored in another article in the coming weeks, but for now here are the routes for all five teams:
