New Report has Youssef Chermiti as the best young player, with Falkirk's Filip Lissah in 4th
Work from the CIES Football Observatory last month showed that Celtic’s Benjamin Nygren would likely command the highest ‘fair’ transfer fee of all players in the Scottish Premiership, excluding those here on loan.
Youssef Chermiti was the player that Rangers could expect to receive the largest bids for, and so it is probably no surprise that Chermiti (21) tops the list of the ‘best’ u23 players in the Scottish Premiership, while Nygren (24) misses out due to his age.
The second article on that study listed the top 10 players in terms of expected fair price - a list that was made up entirely of Celtic and Rangers players. Mikey Moore, Jayden Meghoma and Nasser Djiga all featured in the top 10, with at least some of their fair value driven by the fact they are youngsters on loan from the English Premier League.
